Theres a brief period between the hot adventurous months of summer and the time when Nature dances her last colorful dance before the monochromatic days of winter set in. Sometime in mid- August a softness sneaks in, many are unaware this is a legit “thing” created by the Sun siting lower in the sky .Nature begins her last harrah by quietly entering the stage, soon the vivid colors of autumn will take center stage displaying a kaleidoscope of color.The scents of apple ,cinnamon and bonfires fill our nostril.As we pull out the sweaters and boots we are reminded the holidays aren’t far off.So, my friends the point of this message is, get out there and enjoy time outdoors…you still have time to do what you didn’t get to in summer. Plan autumn picnics. hikes ,apple picking and such, just get outside and breathe in the magic.Ive been blessed to have spent all of our sabbats with friends at the lake .We have made nice memories and have had some interesting adventures from the baby ducklings, to the crow that took residence in my purse, yes, you heard that right.Last month we all noticed the seasonal shift..not everyone would.The trees looked tired, like they were ready to change into their bright autumn colors.The baby ducklings were fully independent as the glided across the still water of the lake. The gentle breeze that rustled the leaves joined the songs of. Cicadas and crickets .Until next time…have fun as you explore all the season has to offer and as always express gratitude.
