Introducing Maya Nash

Maya Nash is the Hudson Valley’s best known psychic and radio personality. At Mind Over Matter for the past fourteen years where she does psychic readings, Maya got her start in radio as a frequent guest on local radio, doing live psychic readings on air for listeners. Maya was a guest on many shows which led to hosting two of her own talk shows. The programs proved to all she could hold her own without offering psychic readings each week on air, by bringing listeners interesting guests and topics. She also co-hosted “Chat Time with Maya and Susan” on Rockland World Radio. She has also been a guest on local cable TV and has a large clientele in the tri-state area.

Maya is also an author. “The Magic Within” (2002) is a handbook to awaken the spirit by drawing upon the elements of nature. Her second book “Tea-ology: A Guide to All Things Tea” is a must read for all tea lovers. Book three — “Fairy-Play” — blends a strong message of respecting the earth with the legend and lore of fairy tales, and is sure to interest the inner child in all!

Maya has appeared at Madison Square Garden, the New York Renaissance Faire, Nyack First Night, as well as many corporate events. She has done lectures for civic and community groups and always draws a large crowd at the presentations she gives at local libraries. Topics for speaking engagements include Witchcraft, The History of the Tarot, Tea Leaf Reading, and the Origin of Halloween and why it is known as the Witches’ New Year.

Maya lives in the Hudson Valley, New York, has seven children and twelve amazing grandchildren. She is blessed with best friends anyone could wish for!
